The Integrated Wellness Medical Centre expanded with a second location (original location is in North Vancouver), this time in Port Coquitlam.
As it had opened up in January 2020, just a couple of months before the COVID-19 pandemic, it was quickly turned temporarily into a COVID-19 testing site, for symptomatic people and essential travel. We went through rapid changes to the website as the situation unfolded, putting in very quick updates. We created a COVID-19 Symptomatic page with a form for people feeling ill and wanting to be tested for COVID-19 to fill out. This allowed the clinic to quickly run through all the tests as efficiently as possible.
The client then expanded into COVID-19 testing for essential travel, having done just the symptomatic testing before. This was a private pay service (as travel testing was not covered by the BC MSP) ,and needed it’s own form and frequent updates due to the time-sensitive nature of many of their patients filling out the form.
Through my quick response times and understanding their business needs, I was able to deliver a great package allowing them to best service the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.
